I remember when my History of Art teacher first introduce me to Man Ray's work! I was completely blown away by it, so powerful, so meaningful! He was a significant contributor to the Dada and Surrealist movements, although his ties to each were informal. He was best known for his photography but considered himself a painter above all! In 1937, Man Ray did a suite of drawings that were publish with poems by Paul Eluard. While studying those drawings i read a quote from Man Ray regarding that particular work... ‘In these drawings my hands are dreaming’.... this sentence stayed in the back of my head... well, for almost 20 years, and last November I finally decided to do something about it!
Today's editorial IS NOT about ballet or ballerinas... today's inspiration is a journey, inspired by movement, inspired by change and evolution of what we are and what we want to be! Today's editorial is more personal that all of the others I was part of... today's post intends to show you so much more that pretty faces or pretty florals...
Have your hands been dreaming lately?
PS: A huge thank you to the whole team that was part of this editorial, they completely understand the concept of what we wanted to do and made an incredible job! Don't forget to watch The Amazing Rabbit's film.
