Last year we designed and shoot this wedding in Braga, at Hotel do Parque. Because it was raining so much that day, the ceremony was inside the Hotel. Actually it rained the entire day and all the portraits had to be taken inside the Hotel, it was quite challenging, but definitely worth the risk! Also, we love how the use of bold colors turned out, creating an impactful setting for dinner.
One to One by Brancoprata II
Before we sign off for the weekend, here's a few images of a One to One we did with Passionate Photography last year! Ricardo and Sandra travelled from the South of Portugal to meet us and we had a wonderful day together, talking about our craft, our dreams and workflow! André didn't had a lot of time to shot during the exercise we created forPassionate Photography, however we tought about sharing some images! Wouldn't it be fun to have a bride in a dark jumpsuite, for a city wedding?
EDITORIAL AT PALÁCIO DO BOLHÃO, PORTO II
On our last post we shared images of an editorial at Palácio do Bolhão, and at the time of the shoot, designer Gio Rodrigues, sent us two wedding dresses. We thought it was only fair to share the photos of the other dress that we ended up not using for the Magnolia Rouge's submission. This dress was absolutely stunning, the fabric had an heavy but extremely rich texture and paired perfectly with the simplicity of the veil.

EDITORIAL AT PALÁCIO DO BOLHÃO, PORTO
For this editorial we choose a soft colour palette to complement the decadent look and highlight the beautiful PALÁCIO DO BOLHÃO backdrop. Considered one of the most notable buildings of the Portuguese architecture of the nineteenth century, the palace was built in 1844 by Antonio de Sousa Guimarães, one of the richest merchants in the country. The palace expressed the political and financial strength of the proud city's bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century, and currently it's the home to Academia Contemporanea do Espectáculo, a art school and Theatre. The building's architecture, the various golden details and painted ceilings match perfectly our abundant flowers yet enhance the simplicity and elegance of our bride. And that jaw dropping fireplace, was the perfect setting to display the stunning cakes designed by TBakes, specially for this editorial. Finally, this shoot would not be possible without the help and goodwill of ACE, that allow us to shoot at the stunning Palácio do Bolhão, right in the heart of our city!

CITY WEDDING IN PORTO
Hosting a wedding in a vibrant city like Porto provides a wonderful backdrop for the day festivities and Helena and Manuel knew that from the start! With little less than a month to plan everything, we found this beautiful place, right in the heart of the city: Flow restaurant, and it was perfect, an industrial meets chic kind of feel, with incredible food, and a patio big enough for the ceremony and cocktail hour! Lots of greenery and tons of candles mixed with plexiglass details and Edison light bulbs created a chic and sophisticated setting! The bride wore a short dress paired with a cute red belt and a pair of wheels that were insanely gorgeous! Her make up and over all styling was done by the girls at Pretty Exquisite and the hair by Diff Hairdesigners! This couple was determined to break a few rules so the bride decided not to have a flower bouquet, no rings and no wedding cake! The beauty of this wedding is that, it's actually the proof you don't need to do things by the book, you can make your wedding your own, it's your day, its' your rules, and in the end, it will work!!
