The Gothic Quarter encompasses the oldest parts of the city of Barcelona, and includes the remains of the city's Roman wall, several notable medieval landmarks and also, it was the perfect setting for Arielle and Jeff's engagement session! They will be married in Spain next May, and one thing we know for sure... this wedding is going to be incredible, just look at these smiles.
NATURAL OUTDOOR ENGAGEMENT SHOOT BY BRANCOPRATA
It's been a while since we last updated our journal and although we already set our minds in 2018, there's still so much beauty and love to share from last year! Jen and Eric are a good example. They came to Portugfal to have their destination wedding at this incredible castle (more on this soon) but before their big day, they met André for their engagement shoot in the north of Portugal. The light was incredible that day, and with a stunning couple like these two, the end result is something close to a fairytale.
featured on Style Me Pretty II
So excited to be featured on Style me Pretty today with this engagement session in Lisbon a couple of months ago! Jacquelyn and Justin are the most adorable couple and we are so happy we were able to capture this moment in their lives! One last thing, if you're not following Jacquelyn's work, you most definitely should!
engagement session in Lake Di Garda, Italy
Sirmione is one of the most popular "sights" on Lake Garda, with thousands of visitors flooding in each day to view the picturesque peninsula. The castle and Roman ruins are probably the most popular features but if you are looking for a different angle to see the village, the best option is to rent a boat and go for a ride. This was exactly what Alethiea and Krushi, from Xander & Thea, did last July, for their engagement shoot. And because they wanted to do something special and honor the Bride’s Italian heritage, Lake Garda was the perfect location for an elegant engagement session with minimal styling.
You can see more on this shoot on Style Me Pretty.
LUMINOUS ENGAGEMENT SESSION BY THE SEA
The Northern Portuguese coast will surprise you by its beautiful landscape, where the plateaus, valleys and mountain ranges are joined with a never ending sea. The whole coastline from Porto to the Spanish border consists of golden, sandy beaches, many virtually deserted which means it's the perfect setting for an engagement session. Inland there are mountains and deep rivers which have cut their way through creating spectacular gorges, and flowing in the Atlantic Ocean. During Summertime, the light is so perfect, so golden that many couples choose this perfect setting for their engagement session. And if you don't believe me, just make sure to see the images below. A massive thank you to Ana and Paulo, for allowing us to immortalize their time together before their wedding day.
