André Teixeira's primary concern is capturing sincere beauty.

What qualifies as authentically beautiful in André’s eyes (and his beloved Contax 645) is the canvas of people where natural light draws upon, the love for life revealed into each scene. Much of what he captures is inspired by life’s daily gestures. He is always on the hunt for THE ONE photograph - the music of a simple walk, connections and humanity.
Strolling the streets of his native Porto, he commits life's art to the camera, turning a half-hour ramble into a four-hour drive.

André’s first foray into photography was with the press, but as the digital era arrived he felt he was not being aware of what was happening around, always looking at the camera.
Having picked up film photography early in life and motivated by the polarities of interaction, André came to wedding photography with a desire to probe the limits of his couples and their families' honest feelings.

His approach belongs to the school where each gesture is connected to another and hardly remains solitary, the stamp of heritage and feelings so intense and he likes nothing more than looking at every moment through the lens of generations to come.
