Lindale Studios collection of styling mats

A couple of months ago Lindale Studios challenged us to shoot her collection of styling mats, and we, of course, immediately said yes. Katrina, the owner and creative mind of Lindale Studios, paints backdrops and styling mats by hand for photographers, stylists, and artisans everywhere! Her work is quite unique and very exquisite, so it truly was an honor to work with her

Here’s what Katrina had to say about this collection:

“From small shores, to wide ones, from cliffs to shells, from deep waters to the sparkling aqua colored shallow waters, my eyes have been drawn to all the colors and movement. I see completely different colors in the Mediterranean than I see in the Atlantic. This new collection is more than just “blues,” but layers, and have highlights that remind me of the small waves that hit the rocks, and the bright green algae on the rocks. These colors not only give contrast, but are also subtle and includes neutrals, and have neutral tones.”

Also, Lindale Studios is launching their new collection, on October 25 and it’s called: “Parts of Rome!”, so please make sure you check it out.
