A Florida waterfront destination wedding with a modern flair and a dash of some tropical vibes. A monochromatic scheme with green and golden accents. Perfect for minimalist lovers who plan to have an elegant beach wedding.

When she was a child, our bride Ashley used to go to Sarasota for Summer vacations with her family. So when David proposed, they immediately thought Florida was the perfect setting for their celebration.

In other words, they invited their closest friends and family for a weekend of activities in sunny Sarasota.

Ashley and her bridesmaids had an early start getting ready on the morning of the wedding. So our bride wanted to give them a keepsake of the day. She bought them a pair of white and gold earrings that matched their black gowns perfectly.

First look

Meanwhile the couple decided to do a first look . And just before the ceremony started, they met at  The Ritz Carlton (very tropical and isolated) garden.

It was quite emotional and a very intimate moment.

After this, the weather started to change dramatically. So the team at Evoke Design & Creative had a few minutes to change the ceremony to a indoor space.

Never the less, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room, it was such an heartfelt ceremony.

However. once the ceremony was over, the weather shifted again, so we were able to do some portraits outside.

One of Ashley’s best friends is talented Jeannette Tavares, owner and creative extraordinaire at Evoke Design & Creative. They know each other for a long time, so when it was time to start designing the event, Jeannette knew exactly what to do.

It was a unforgettable day, not just for Ashley & David and their guests, but also for us.
